Unfortunately, Storm Darragh has forced us to cancel 2024's Univerisity Novice Race Day, scheduled for 8/12/2024. Safety must remain the top priority and the high winds would present a risk to competitors and equipment.

Our Novice Race Day started as an annual side-by-side race with the University of Manchester to give Novice Rowers a taste of the racing experience.
Our updated course now covers 1000m of the river Weaver.
We have refreshments, a BBQ and an assortment of baked goods, so no need to bring lunch!
