Each year, we take on a large number of members who have never rowed before, and by the end of the year, they are competing for seats in our top boats. 

 

When you join Liverpool as a novice, you will complete an 'Introduction to Rowing' course designed by our Captains and Coach. Once completed, you have the option to commit to a full membership. If you do this, you will become a member of our Novice Squad. You will complete our Novice training plan each week and compete in races in Novice boats throughout the winter season.

By the summer season, we aim to have integrated Senior and Novice squads. The full team will then compete openly for seats in the top boats.
