LUBC

ABOUT US:

Established in 1926, LUBC is one of the oldest clubs at the University of Liverpool. The club accepts experienced and new rowers, training all members to compete in several national competitions.

These include:

Head of the River Race (HORR)

BUCS Head

BUCS Regatta

 Henley Royal Regatta (HRR)

Henley Women's Regatta (HWR).

Senior crews train 3 times a week on a 12.3KM stretch of the River Weaver with additional land training sessions on indoor rowers (ergs), strength and conditioning sessions, and circuit training. New rowers are taught how to row from the beginning of semester one, with the aim to have you rowing at a senior level by the end of your first year.
